POST Luxembourg: Planning for 2025 and beyond begins now

POST Luxembourg launches a call for proposals for the issuance of future “official” commemorative stamps

Each year, POST Philately issues around twenty stamps dedicated to various commemorations.

These commemorative stamps are particularly suitable for celebrating the jubilee of a personality, an association, an institution, a historic building, a work of art or an event of major importance.

Planning for 2025 and beyond begins now. It is in this context and in order not to miss out on a major event, that POST Luxembourg is launching a call for proposals for commemorative stamps for 2025 and beyond.

Municipal administrations and major cultural institutions were invited to submit their subject proposals for possible commemorative stamps by post or online via post.lu/timbre.

Any association, cooperative or group, as well as companies and private individuals, can also submit their proposals via the online form until 15 March 2024.

All applications received by mail or electronically before March 15, 2024 and whose subject matter has been deemed admissible, will be considered by the Philatelic Committee. The issue programme for the year 2025 is traditionally presented at the Soirée du Timbre, which will take place at the end of September 2024.

After issue, the official stamps will be available in the POST Philately – www.postphilately.lu online shop, at the philatelic counter (13, rue Robert Stumper, Cloche d’Or) as well as in all POST Spaces and post offices.
