BÖWE BELL + HOWELL introduces the Printegrity™ inkjet solution
BÖWE BELL + HOWELL, a leading provider of mail center processing solutions, is pleased to introduce the Printegrity™ inkjet solution, a cost-efficient system that provides mailpiece personalization options to mailers. The solution will be featured in booth 421 during the GRAPH EXPO 2006 trade show in Chicago Oct. 15 through Oct.18.
The Printegrity inkjet solution offers flexibility for targeted and one-to-one marketing with the use of color printing onto envelopes and a range of other media types. The inkjet solution features the capability to print a range of items, including graphics, barcodes, addresses, time and date stamps, and variable messages.
“Personalization options are important in making your mailpiece visible,” commented Patrick J. Donahue, vice president of marketing for BÖWE BELL + HOWELL. “With the amount of correspondence each of us receives daily, mailers must ensure the recipients receive noticeable, targeted messages to make their communication stand out.”
With the Printegrity inkjet solution, targeted and one-to-one marketing is made easy. The solution can print dynamic or fixed graphics, logos and text to draw attention to the mailpiece by highlighting promotions, specials, discounts and more using a variety of ink types in multiple colors and pigments.
A unique feature of the Printegrity inkjet solution is its auto-capping technology. This feature prevents ink cartridges from drying between uses.
“What makes the Printegrity different from the competition is the cartridge-drying-prevention technology,” said Bryan Frack, product development manager. “Many inkjet systems on the market today require removal of the cartridge following job completion. By making the auto-capping a standard feature, we simplify the operator’s job and ensure the best print quality all the time.”
With speeds of up to 36,000 envelopes per hour and quick changeover through simple job-loading features, the Printegrity inkjet solution is designed for efficiency. Its mechanical and software adjustments allow for fast job modifications to keep up with production needs. Additionally, the solution can interface with a wide range of inserters or serve as a standalone module capable of linking with several input and output options.
The Printegrity inkjet solution supports full integrity tracking features to ensure addresses and personalized messages match the mailpiece. The vacuum transport system provides positive material control to provide exceptional print quality.
