Austrian Post launches subscription model just in time for Christmas

With AllesPost, online shoppers can receive all their parcels conveniently and flexibly with Austrian Post – regardless of the sender and parcel service. At the beginning of November, the service received a new subscription model. Like Netflix, Spotify and Co., the AllesPost subscription now runs flexibly on a monthly basis and can be cancelled at any time.

Another new feature is that only those parcels that are not already delivered by Austrian Post will be counted. This results in two attractive subscription variants:

  • AllesPost Standard: 2.90 euros for 5 parcels per month
  • AllesPost Premium: 5.90 for 15 parcels per month

Peter Umundum, Deputy Director General, Board Member for Parcel & Logistics: “More than 200,000 parcels were processed via AllesPost last year alone, and the trend is rising. This shows the relevance of our services and how much the high quality of Austrian Post is appreciated by recipients. With our new subscription model and the associated advantages of all postal reception options, AllesPost will be even more attractive – just in time for the Christmas season.”

AGAINST PARCEL CHAOS: HOW EVERYTHINGPOST WORKS
Online shoppers usually cannot choose which parcel service their orders are used to deliver. For this reason, Austrian Post introduced AllesPost back in 2019: Users of the service receive their own AllesPost address at a postal logistics center, which is given as the delivery address at check-out. All parcels from other parcel services are then brought to this address, where they are taken over by the post office and usually delivered the very next working day.

FREEDOM TO RECEIVE PARCELS: POSTAL RECEIVING OPTIONS
AllesPost puts an end to the guesswork of where your parcel ends up. With the takeover by Austrian Post, users will have all known reception options at their disposal. Parcels can either be delivered normally or redirected with the Post app to a post office, to a postal partner or Hermes ParcelShop, to neighbours or to a 24/7 post station, depending on your wishes. This also makes it possible for all parcels to be delivered to postal receiving boxes or to be deposited in a secure location.

Convenience means that recipients do not base their lives on a package, but the package on their lives. AllesPost makes exactly that possible with every delivery.
