CEVA Logistics: innovation is embedded in our strategy

CEVA Logistics has launched a pilot program leveraging two Zelostech Z10 autonomous vehicles (AVs) at its Blue Hub facility in Singapore for intra-hub operation.

The pilot deploys the two electric Z10 vehicles to autonomously transport pallets, totes, and other inventory across different floors using the building’s existing multi-level ramp infrastructure. The vehicles autonomously move pallets, totes and other inventory between floors. By automating these movements, CEVA Logistics aims to improve operational agility, optimize the use of staging areas and enable inventory transfers to be scheduled more flexibly according to operational demand. Based on the current trial results, the autonomous vehicle solution is expected to reduce CO emissions by at least 4,600 kilograms annually while improving operational efficiency.

The project stems from the 2025 CMA CGM Startup Awards, co-organized by ZEBOX, the international innovation accelerator of CEVA Logistics’ parent company, the CMA CGM Group. As an award winner, Zelostech received funding to develop a proof of concept (POC) with CMA CGM, paving the way for its collaboration with CEVA Logistics on innovative supply chain applications.

The project takes place at CEVA’s Singapore Blue Hub, an eight-story, 50,000-square-meter facility serving high-demand luxury, beauty, retail, and healthcare customers. The site already incorporates a range of advanced technologies, including Goods-to-Person (G2P) systems, automated guided vehicle (AGV) picking solutions and robotics. Recognized as Asia’s first BiodiverCity®-labeled building and LEED Gold certified, the multi-tier hub serves as a central testing ground for next-generation logistics, already integrating Goods-to-Person (G2P) systems, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and advanced robotics.

The pilot reflects CEVA’s broader commitment to evaluating emerging technologies that drive safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Insights gathered during the Singapore deployment will inform the potential rollout of autonomous mobility solutions across CEVA facilities globally.

Chris Walton, Senior Vice President, Contract Logistics, CEVA Logistics, said: “At CEVA, innovation is embedded in our strategy. By encouraging teams across our global network to experiment with new technologies and share best practices, we are building smarter, more resilient supply chains and preparing our operations for the future.”

Guy Meredith, Vice President, Contract Logistics, Asia Pacific, CEVA Logistics, said: “Our focus is to continually improve efficiency and deliver better logistics solutions for our customers. By working closely with technology innovators across Asia Pacific, we can bring the latest advances in automation and AI into real-world supply chain operations, creating value through an innovation ecosystem.”
