Postal Department to sell State Bank of India products

The Department of Posts and Telegraph, Government of India, has tied up with the State Bank of India (SBI) for selling SBI’s term deposit certificates through its post offices. Post offices in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Orissa, Jharkhand and Rajasthan will be selling the SBI certificates. The Department already has similar arrangements with Corporation Bank, Union Bank of India and the Oriental Bank of Commerce.
