New Zealand Post: Redirecting your mail made easier with new online service

New Zealand Post launch a new online service to help household customers redirect mail.

New Zealand Post launched a new online service to help household customers redirect mail.
Redirections can still be arranged by visiting a PostShop, but the addition of an online service will make it more convenient for customers to ensure their mail follows them when their postal address changes.

The online Redirection service is available to all household customers who hold a New Zealand driver’s licence and a credit card. Householders’ addresses are validated according to New Zealand Post address standards, including the correct postcode, and a New Zealand driver’s licence is required to verify customer identification. Payment can be made by credit card.

The fee for an online Redirection is the same as in PostShops and starts from USD 10.58 for the first two months. The same three working day period, required by a PostShop, is required to process an online Redirection request.

Businesses and other organisations, including charities, and non driver’s licence holders will still need to go to their local PostShop to redirect their mail.

Customers opting to register with the online Redirection service can also access other New Zealand Post products and services including the online Hold service launched in April 2008.
