Company spokespeople have commented that the goals of the report to provide more access to high speed Internet to the UK will have a welcome effect on their delivery business.

The report forms an action plan to secure the UK’s place at the forefront of innovation, investment and quality in the digital and communications industries, developed by Stephen Carter, minister for communications, technology and broadcasting.

DHL have said that home deliveries have been an important issue for British consumers recently with the growth of online shopping. This is only set to grow as online shopping grows and grows. It has been noted that consumer deliveries are going to be a big growth area for European business and it shows no signs of slowing down.

A further commentator stated that deliveries are the backbone of online shopping. The industry is shifting in its setup and high speed and efficient connections are vital to delivering its services most effectively.

It is also a vital ingredient to the growth of the home delivery business that consumers have access to reliable and fast Internet access.
