Former TNT boss joins Freightways board

Roger Corcoran, who retired as chief executive of TNT Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands in December, is joining the board of Freightways.

Roger Corcoran, who retired as chief executive of TNT Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands in December, is joining the board of Freightways.

Corcoran spent 30 years working for TNT throughout the world, and in his final role with the company worked closely with the Freightways team in the development of its strategic alliance with TNT, Freightways said.

“Roger brings to Freightways substantial express package industry knowledge and broad global business experience,” Freightways chairman Wayne Boyd said. “Importantly he is based in Australia where Freightways has in recent years established its own business presence,” he added.
