DHL upgrades e-shipping tool
DHL has introduced DHL eMailShip 2.0, an upgraded version of its e-shipping tool. DHL eMailShip has been used by over 2,000 DHL customers across Asia Pacific, processing more than 200,000 shipments, said the express service provider, adding that usage of the platform sees 10-15% increase monthly.
DHL eMailShip 2.0 allows customers to file and submit shipment details, as well as arrange shipment pick-up via email.
“At DHL, we track customer preferences closely and continuously utilize technologies that simplify processes for customers. We have improved DHL eMailship to further simplify the shipping and booking procedures, a testament of our commitment to customer service and satisfaction,” said Donna Attal, Head of Marketing, DHL Express Asia Pacific / Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
New features of DHL eMailShip 2.0 include:
* address Book to save customers the hassle of entering the same details for each new transaction;
* enhanced delivery notification to inform relevant parties once the shipment is delivered, so all parties involved are updated instantaneously; and
* cash shipment function that enables both corporate account customers and individual consumers to pay in cash and enjoy the benefits of DHL eMailShip.
