TPG and CTT Correios intend to cooperate
The Dutch TNT Post Group NV (TPG) and the Portuguese post company CTT Correios, or rather its subsidiary Postlog-EMS, recently signed a letter of intent for a future alliance. The planned cooperation mainly concerns national and international express services in and from Portugal. The transaction is expected to be finalized before the end of the year. CTT Correios has a network of 1073 post office counters, employs a staff of over 17,000 people and owns 420 delivery offices. Approximately 5.7 million shipments are delivered every day
