infoGROUP has announced it has been given the green light from the USPS, certifying that the company has met new Cycle M Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) requirements to process bulk mailings.

The certificate of approval means direct mail marketing clients will continue to receive best postal discounts possible when the new compliance standards take effect on 31 July.

“The goal was a seamless transition for our clients and that’s exactly what we’re delivering,” says Jim Grace, manager of DP Services, infoGROUP. “Because infoGROUP is ahead of the curve on this, the date will be a non-event for clients and they can continue to receive the most effective pricing available.

We don’t want our clients, or anyone else for that matter, having to worry about compliance issues and not getting the best bang for their buck.

Compliance saves money and in this economy, every penny counts.”

This standardisation is part of the USPS and its Cycle M Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS). In order to be CASS certified, participants must pass a stringent evaluation of their address matching software, being judged on deliverability and accuracy. Participants in the CASS program are re-evaluated on an annual basis to maintain their certified status.

InfoGROUP is a provider of data driven and interactive resources for targeted sales, marketing and research solutions.
