Farewell to Israelsen

As earlier announced, Helge Israelsen has decided to resign from his position as CEO of Post Danmark, which he has held for 21 years. In the time to come, Helge Israelsen will still be at the disposal of Posten Norden – the name of the united Post Danmark and Posten.

K. B. Pedersen, the current deputy CEO, has been appointed the new CEO of Post Danmark. K. B. Pedersen is also deputy CEO and head of the group function Operations Development in Posten Norden.

Finn Hansen becomes a new member of the executive board of Post Danmark. Finn Hansen is also head of Posten Norden’s activities in Denmark in the letters field, including the post offices, and a member of the group management of Posten Norden.

After this change, the executive board of Post Danmark is composed of K.B. Pedersen and Finn Hansen in addition to Palle Juliussen and Torsten Fels who both are current members of the executive board.

On 25 August, Post Danmark will be holding a farewell reception for Helge Israelsen in Copenhagen.
