COPYRIGHT 2001 Information Access Company NETdelivery Corporation, a provider of digital solutions for next-generation
secure online data management and exchange, has launched its latest software
solution for postal organizations. The new software, recently selected by
Sweden Post to power its online service initiative, includes new,
state-of-the-art electronic forms capability, as well as enhanced enrollment,
digital data security and management, online delivery and transaction
processing functions. The new electronic forms capability enables end-to-end
creation, exchange and processing of forms of all types — dramatically
lowering the cost of traditional, paper-based forms handling. “Through our success building online solutions for EPOST and Sweden Post,
NETdelivery continues to add new technology requirements, such as electronic
forms management, needed to build a full-service, online postal system,” said
Bill Robertson, senior vice president, business development at NETdelivery.
“Based on our experience within the postal marketplace we know exactly what
problems our customers face as they move to supplement their physical mail
delivery services with cutting-edge online solutions.” NETdelivery’s latest technology provides a seamless, customer-controlled
migration from paper to electronic forms, and allows end-users to choose
between traditional paper and Web-based options. When situations require
ink-on-paper signatures, NETdelivery’s e-forms technology allows customers to
eliminate the costs and error prone processes of manual, optical character and
intelligent character data entry, while at the same time providing complete
privacy and confidentiality of the information that is submitted via paper.
The technology allows forms to be completed online for free, printed on a
local printer, and physically signed by the person submitting the data.
Because each paper form includes a machine-readable, encrypted, 2-D barcode,
postal customers can now process paper forms with the same ease as an
electronic transaction, while providing identical levels of high security,
confidentiality and privacy regardless of the format. ABOUT NETDELIVERY Founded in 1995, NETdelivery Corporation is setting a new standard for the
way government and businesses manage, exchange and process digital information
on the Internet. Privately held and headquartered in Boulder, Colo., the
company enables organizations to replace inefficient paper-based processes and
exchange information online with complete authentication and interactivity
through an open, scalable, web-based software platform. Working with Canada
Post and Cebra Inc., NETdelivery created the world’s first online post office
known as “EPOST.” Customers include EPOST, Sweden Post, iWorks/NBC5Plaza, and
a major U.S. Telecommunications firm. NETdelivery Corporation can be found on the World Wide Web
