Iceland Post choose Canadian e-solution

Iceland Post, Islandspostur, has selected the Canada Post epost electronic bill presentment and payment solution. Part of Canada Post’s SmartFlow suite of Document Management services, epost is the world’s first electronic post office. Launched in 1999, epost delivers over 250 types of documents and financial statements securely online to over 5m registered users.

“At Canada Post we know that the security and convenience of epost offers incredible value to mailers and consumers alike,” said Moya Greene, president and CEO of Canada Post. “It is great news that a leading edge post such as Islandspostur came to the same conclusion.”

Under the agreement, Canada Post will provide the software that Islandspostur will use to run an epost system in Iceland as well as training and software customisation services. For Canadian businesses, Canada Post is the leading provider of electronic document services that deliver reduced costs and increased profitability to clients.

“Islandspostur selected epost as our analysis showed that it is the best in class electronic mail consolidation solution. Security, convenience, and ease of use were some of the reasons epost was selected overall. We are confident that epost will help our business increase efficiencies and reduce costs in managing customer communications.” said Ingimundur Sigurpálsson, CEO for Islandspostur.
