By Karnjana Karnjanatawe, Bangkok Post.

Thailand’s OGA has introduced an online encryption service for secure e-mail and documents through ASPSiam.com, its latest application service provider (ASP) business.

To promote the secure e-mail service in Thailand, the company has made available a 30-day free trial service.

OGA is initially investing 7 million baht ($154,457) in infrastructure to support the service, including a data center implementation, a security system and software licenses from Authentica, an information protection company based in the U.S.

According to the company’s CEO and managing director Wisuit Tassanaiam, Authentica will help users to have control over their messages.

The first service is called MailRecall and allows users to set up a security policy for corporate e-mail.
