Home Delivery Network rebrands as Yodel

Home Delivery Network (HDNL) and its combined businesses have rebranded as Yodel. The rebranding forms a part of a company transformation, which included the acquisition of DHL’s domestic parcel business in the UK, completed earlier this year.

“The new brand aims to challenge the delivery market with an absolute focus on the customer,” the company said.

The Yodel business will deliver for both the B2B and B2C markets, it has been confirmed.

Jonathan Smith, Yodel CEO, said “We are delighted to be unveiling this new brand, which represents our ambitions to be a truly customer focused business offering a full suite of services that others in the market cannot match. The combined business is already growing faster than the market and we are excited about our future potential.”

Yodel has already proved attractive to clients from all sectors with over 100 new clients starting in the last two months alone, of which over 12 generate in excess of £1m per annum.

With the acquisition of the DHL business, HDNL previously created a viable alternative to Royal Mail. Yodel will deliver over 200m parcels per year with annual revenues of £600m.

The company operates eight national hubs, 123 service centres, and a fleet of 5,000 vans, whilst being headquartered in Hatfield, UK. The new company website is www.yodel.co.uk.
