Russia: Computers connected to Internet to be installed in 1800 post offices in 2001

Russian Federation: Russian communications and information ministry (Minsvyazinform) (Moscow, Russia) is going to install computers connected to Internet in 1800 post offices all over the country. According to ministry officials, the Internet terminals will be ready for operation by the end of the year. Specialists notice this ministry is responsible for the fereral program Electronic Russia.
