Aug 15, 2001, (Le Soir /FT Information via COMTEX) — Express mail group TNT Express Belgium has signed an agreement with BIAC, the group responsible for operating Brussels-National airport. Under the terms of the agreement, TNT will have use of an extra 40,000m of space at Brucargo, according to a communique issued on Tuesday.

The extension of TNT Express’s site in Belgium will be accompanied by an investment of 22.5m euros (BFr907.6m). TNT is looking to eventually create between 20 and 100 new jobs at the site. The group is also looking to create a branch in the Walloon region during the course of 2002.
