From NETIMPERATIVE, September 14th, 2001

By Philip Buxton Section: Media and Marketing UpMyStreet, the local information provider, has won a deal to provide its
services to the Consignia trial of internet kiosks in Post Offices. As the Post Office, now named Consignia, tests the kiosks at 268 Post Offices
in Leicestershire and Rutland, UpMyStreet will provide the system with its
‘Find My Nearest’ service which locates nearby education, health and

that will provide local and national information through touch screen kiosks.
If the trial proves successful, the kiosks will be rolled out nationally from
late Summer 2002.NETIMPERATIVE, 14th September 2001
