TDG contract with Littlewoods extended to include e-delivery

European supply chain solutions provider TDG has extended its long-standing partnership with UK retailer Littlewoods to include a new e-delivery operation.
Under the £15m (t24m) deal, TDG will provide a 20,000sq metre storage and pick centre for catalogue and TV shopping channel orders within its multi-contract facility at Wrexham. The centre is convenient for the main distribution hub in Shaw, Lancashire.

The facility was reconfigured for the operation with narrow-aisle storage. Specialist teams from TDG and Littlewoods were able to get the operation up and running within 12 weeks, despite extensive building works and the need to recruit extra staff.
