Fiege looks for mail order orders

Fiege, the German logistics group, is hoping to have built up a nationwide network of private postal delivery companies by 2004. It is currently the second largest postal delivery company in the country, behind Deutsche Post. It is currently in negotiations with Neckermann and various hospitals, in an attempt to increase its network.

Last year, the company expects to have shown turnover growth of 5 per cent, to 1.26bn euros, while profit is described as ‘satisfactory’.
