DHL forms global strategic alliance (contract)
Global air express carrier DHL International has formed a strategic alliance with Invensys, a world leader in the automation and controls industry. According to DHL, the 2 year contract, worth $15m per year, will provide an integrated, fast and cost-effective supply chain for Invensys and its customers. DHL will be the primary express carrier for moving Invensys products, including controls, sensors and motors. The logistics services will include strategic inventory management, direct distribution and repair and return inventory management.
