70m GBP wasted on mail

Over the last year, businesses have wasted £70.2 million mailing people at the wrong address, according to recent research by The REaD Group. The research was based on match rates found by the National Suppression File (NSF), which the company launched in March 2001.
The NSF contains over 21 million records, utilising data from GAS. NCOA, Electoral Roll and the previously unaccounted for postal returns file.
