Asiana Airlines and Hynundai Express launch joint home delivery service

Hyundai Express said Friday it has launched a home delivery service jointly with Asiana Airlines this month.

Called “Aviation Home Delivery 5,” the special delivery service will be able to deliver goods in five hours from any city in the country, including Seoul and Jeju Island.

The service comprises three kinds of delivery services including door to door, door to airport and airport to door, the company said.

The company will refund 50 per cent of transportation charges if the delivery is delayed over 30 minutes and the entire transportation fee if the service is delayed over an hour.

The high-speed service is aimed at delivering vital documents or perishable goods, the company said.
