NetDespatch lift Chase Distillery’s spirits

NetDespatch has helped Herefordshire-based Chase Distillery to reduce order processing time and improve its despatch process. Chase Distillery’s order processing and despatch procedures were transformed NetDespatch who implemented a cost-free web-based solution. The solution seamlessly integrates the company’s order management system with the APC Overnight delivery network.

Chase Distillery has been turning potatoes and apples into vodka and gin since 2008. The distillery processes around 10,000 orders a year, supplying both businesses and individuals throughout the UK, and despatching online orders within 24 hours via the carrier’s local depot – APC Hereford.

Prior to consulting NetDespatch, Chase Distillery staff spent a lot of time manually keying in orders from their Sage system. The NetDespatch Retail Solutions team showed Chase how to use the powerful NetDespatch Import Engine to import their order data direct from Sage.

According to Shannon Bayliss, Customer Services at Chase Distillery, the current system is already saving time every day. “We used to spend up to an hour inputting order details and contacting the carrier – which we no longer need to do since the system automatically alerts the APC Overnight depot, APC Hereford, and we can track all our parcels online.”

NetDespatch works closely with postal and parcel carriers, and provides a cost-free shipping solution for their customers through an easy to use secure web-based platform that automates the connection between order processing, despatch and delivery, even if the orders are received in one location and despatched from another. There are no costs involved to retailers for installation, training or support, and the system is available instantly online.
