Latest release of Delivery Connect allows for more “big data leverage”

Blackbay has announced that the latest release of its Delivery Connect will enable customers to “leverage the big data collected throughout their entire collection and delivery process”. The analysis and reporting capability of Visibility Connect, Blackbay’s Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting Tool, allows delivery companies “to proactively monitor their business operations in real-time, identify and resolve exceptions and over time, pre-empt driver compliance issues to help them achieve first time, on time, every time, deliveries”.

The big data captured by Delivery Connect can be analysed, then transformed into dashboards, scorecards and integrated reports that give an overall view of the status of every on road and depot based transaction.

The dashboards and reports can be integrated into customers’ existing management information systems, providing access to real-time data around KPIs which include first time delivery rates, on-time delivery performance, carded deliveries, customer interaction via SMS, safe place deliveries and driver scorecards.

“The business intelligence achieved by Visibility Connect, which can be shared throughout an organisation, plays a key role in ensuring organisations are not only able to work smarter and more efficiently, but become more agile,” said Nigel Doust, Blackbay’s CEO.

Visibility Connect has been developed in partnership with Logi Analytics and takes advantage of Logi’s ability to infuse analytics into Delivery Connect’s core workflows and application functionality. Reports, delivered to stakeholders across all levels and all departments from IT, operations, sales, marketing and customer experience teams, can be customised to provide the relevant information in the required format.
