Palletways appoints new director

Palletways has announced the appointment of Dave Walmsley as Member and Network Development Director. Walmsley joins Palletways from Lyreco, a worldwide distributor of workplace products, and will be responsible for ensuring the continuous development and growth of the Palletways UK network and its 106 members.

Before joining Palletways, Walmsley was Lyreco’s Group Commercial Director and had been with the company for 25 years. In his previous role, he was responsible for overseeing commercial operations across 28 countries in Europe and Asia and leading a team of over 4,000 sales people and call centre employees.

“I look forward to working with the team here at Fradley and all the members across the country and I am excited to join a business with a clear vision and desire for growth,” said Walmsley.

Palletways delivers to 20 European destinations and has a  network of 400 depots across Europe, of which more than 100 are in the UK.
