India’s Jugnoo raises $3m in extra funding

India-based Jugnoo, the on-demand app for motorised rickshaws, has raised another $3m in funding, according to local reports. The series B funding round was led by mobile wallet Paytm, according to a report published yesterday (17 November) by Tech In Asia.

Jugnoo currently has three apps, Jugnoo Auto, Jugnoo Meals, and Jugnoo Fatafat, which respective enable users to hail rickshaw cabs, order meal deliveries, and get groceries delivered to their homes.

Jugnoo has enlisted more than 3,000 rickshaws to deliver its services, according to Tech In Asia.

In June, Jugnoo received $5 million in Series A funding, with investors include Paytm and Snow Leopard.
