Rate your parcel delivery with DPD Germany

DPD Germany is now offering consignees the opportunity to post immediate, online feedback on the delivery service they have received. “In addition,” DPD said, “if they are especially satisfied with the delivery, consignees will in future be able to give the DPD driver a digital tip via PayPal.”

The online feedback and digital tipping, which DPD helpfully pointed out “can also be used independently of each other”, became available from 26 November.

Claiming that this was a first for the parcel industry, DPD said: “Rating the experience immediately after a service has been provided is now no longer only possible when you order a taxi, have a pizza delivered or make a hotel booking. With immediate effect, DPD is also making available such a digital feedback channel for the consignees to whom the company delivers parcels.”

Consignees can give their feedback on DPD’s service performance – using a one to five star rating – via the DPD app or at www.paketnavigator.de. If they award only one or two stars, they can specify why they were dissatisfied.

Sources at DPD Germany informed Post&Parcel today that, although the new features have only be available for a few days, “the response from the consignees has been very positive”.
