New DHL app increases cold chain visibility

DHL Global Forwarding has launched its new LifeTrack mobile app which will go users in the life sciences and healthcare industry an “on-the-go” overview of their shipments. In a statement issued today (3 December), DHL Global Forwarding said: “The free application grants users on-the-go access to DHL’s proprietary online cold chain tracking and management platform LifeTrack, providing customers in the life sciences and healthcare industry an overview of their shipments, alerts about any in-transit issues – such as temperature excursions, and instant support through round-the-clock access to cold chain experts.

“The LifeTrack mobile app is available for iOS and Android systems and ready for download in the respective app stores.”

Current customers of DHL Thermonet and LifeConex services are able to access the app with their same credentials as the web browser version.

“With the LifeTrack app we meet our customers’ need for increased visibility and convenient access to the main features of our browser version, while on the go,” said David Bang, Global Head of DHL Temperature Management Solutions / CEO LifeConEx, DHL Global Forwarding.

“Our mobile application provides customers with immediate overview of the most critical information, such as temperatures, interventions and shipment resolutions, all in an intuitive mobile design.”
