A taste of Japan, in Singapore

The Singaporean division of the departmental store Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings is launching an online service which will allow Singaporean shoppers to order food from Japan, according to local sources. According to a report published by the Nikkei Asian Review on Saturday (9 January), the shoppers will then receive their orders “in as little as two days”.

The Nikkei Asian Review article added that Isetan is working with Yamato Transport and ANA Cargo to the service, and it will start by offering fresh strawberries grown in Fukuoka Prefecture and then extend the range of foods during the course of 2016.
