New Board member at UK Mail

Chris Mangham has joined the Board of UK Mail Group as an Executive Director. Mangham joined UK Mail as IT Director in January 2015, having previously held a number of senior positions in retail and distribution companies.

Meanwhile, Peter Fuller will join the Group as Operations Director on 5 April and will join the Board on 17 May. Fuller has substantial experience in parcels distribution, most recently at Parcelforce, where he was Operations Director.

Peter Kane, Chairman of UK Mail, commented: “I would like to welcome Chris and Peter to the Board.

“Chris Mangham has led our I.T. operations very successfully over the past year, during a period of significant change. Sophisticated I.T. lies at the heart of our business model and Chris joining the Board will bring the continued necessary focus to this vital element of our business.

“Peter Fuller has a wealth of experience in parcels distribution, particularly in leading the automated operations at Parcelforce. Parcels is our largest division, and Peter will have a key role to play in the future development of this operation and therefore the Group as a whole.”

In November, UK Mail announced the departure of its Chief Executive, Guy Buswell, and the appointment of Peter Kane, company founder and Non-Executive Chairman, as interim Executive Chairman.
