Zoom2U teams up with Menulog

Australian on-demand delivery company Zoom2U has teamed up with online takeaway platform Menulog to launch a restaurant meal delivery service in Sydney. The restaurant delivery service will operate seven evenings a week.

Brian Hickey, Director of Advanced Markets at Just Eat plc, Menulog’s parent company, said: “We’re always looking for ways to improve the experience of our platform, so we’re pleased to be able to provide further delivery options to our customers. The partnership with Zoom2u will enable more restaurants to benefit from the additional revenue stream that a delivery service can provide.”

In a statement about the Menulog partnership posted on the Zoom2U blog today (25 February), Zoom2U said that the geographical coverage for its delivery services now extends to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.

In November, Zoom2U announced a partnership with Greyhound Australia, allowing Zoom2U to use Greyhound buses to move parcels between capital cities throughout Australia. “The partnership will allow us to use our own couriers to deliver to the Greyhound bus depot, placing the parcel on a bus to be delivered to the depot in another city and our couriers can pickup and deliver to our customers each day,” explained Zoom2U.
