Fetchr expands to Bahrain

UAE-based shipping and logistics start-up Fetchr has announced that it has expanded its geographical coverage to include Bahrain. Fetchr, which is also active in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, uses proprietary technology that enables packages to be picked up and delivered using the sender/receiver’s smart phone as the GPS location.

Fetchr said that this approach “solves the problem of no physical addresses in emerging markets, and eliminates the need for annoying phone calls asking for directions”.
