Fiege raises UK profil, sets radical aims

Fiege Group revealed plans to open a rail-linked mega centre that will mark “the biggest shift from road to rail the UK has ever seen“, with consignmentsranging from white goods to womens fashions, paper and canned fruit. It will open in 2 years time.
Heinz Fiege, managing partner who has taken the German logistics firm from 100 to 11,000 employees in 30 years. and CEO Andreas Buehler, led presentations to customers in Northampton last week. Under the banner Total Logistics they raised Fieges UK profile with a pledge to “transform and redefine logistics“. Fiege already has a £65m tirnover in the UK, one third of which comes from home deliveries, notable of white goods.
