Green light for Magna Park distribution centre

Harborough District Council has approved an application by IDI Gazeley to build a new storage and distribution centre on its Magna Park, Lutterworth site which will be used by DHL. The plans had face some opposition from local residents because the new facility will be located close to the site of a deserted medieval village which is of historical interest.

The council decided to approve  the application – but with environmental conditions.

(The Council had approved the plans back in January, but had to reconsider the application following objections from some planning committee members.)
