Lazada using CJ Korea Express as delivery partner

E-commerce platform Lazada has signed up CJ Korea Express as an international delivery service partner. CJ Korea Express will handle the delivery of goods from South Korea to Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

James Chang, chief operations officer of Lazada Crossborder, was quoted in the Korean media as saying: “Currently, the cross-border volume of goods from Korea accounts for about 5% of the total volume traded through our platform, but considering the growing needs of customer demand in the Southeast Asian region, we are preparing for operations that could cater to three to four times increased demand.”
