KRL buys Just Vans (South West)
Multi-modal logistics company KRL has bought Just Vans (South West) Limited. KRL, which has a central domestic transport hub in Telford along with other facilities across the UK, and Just Vans, which has its depot located in Frome, are both part of Palletways.
Joe Hales, managing director of KRL, said: “It’s an exciting time for KRL and we’re looking forward to working with our new colleagues from Just Vans. This acquisition is a great coming together of two business and both are set to mutually benefit from the deal. Just Vans can tap into KRL’s strength in shipping international freight by road, sea and air. Also, while we have an unrivalled reputation in the Midlands, the acquisition will help us to increase our presence in the South West.”
The Palletways Group is made up of over 400 depots and 14 hub operations, through which it provides collection and distribution services across 20 European countries, including the UK.
