DHL launches new Jeddah facility

DHL Express has launched its new air and ground operations facility in Jeddah. According to local sources, the new Jeddah Gateway will enable DHL to provide a direct network flight service into Jeddah’s King Abdel Aziz Airport, and introduce additional network flights to meet future demand.

DHL Express already has facilities in Dammam and Riyadh.

The new Jeddah facility will be equipped with an automated conveyor belt with the capacity to process more than 100,000 shipments everyday – scanning, weighing and capturing the details of every package.
