Wickes offering one-hour delivery time slots

UK-based home improvement retailer Wickes has launched a new delivery service, called Wickes Hourly, which gives customers a choice of one-hour delivery time slots. Wickes is offering the service nationwwide through a partnership with On the dot, following a successful trial.

There are over 7,000 products available through Wickes Hourly and orders can be made online or through the customer services team. Precise one-hour windows are available seven days a week and same day, from £9.95.

Wickes Hourly complements the range of fulfilment options already available to the retailer’s customers, including next day delivery and one-hour click & collect.

Duncan Kendal, Supply Chain Director at Wickes, commented: “At Wickes, we pride ourselves on making our customers’ lives that little bit easier and we’re excited to say we’re the first to market with this new delivery option in our sector.’’

On the dot is operated by the courier company CitySprint.
