Pall-Ex Leicestershire hub on track

Pall-Ex, is just a few months away from completing its new palletised freight distribution hub in Leicestershire. The hub is scheduled to open in March 2003 and will substantially increase the network’s capacity. The new 18-acre site includes 200,000 sq ft of distribution warehousing and much-expanded loading and driver facilities.

Hilary Sharples, managing director and founder of Pall-Ex, says the new hub is integral to its business development plans. “I feel that we’ve hardly scratched the surface in terms of our network’s potential, and that’s very evident at the moment with the huge upsurge in business we’re experiencing. The move to our new site will give us so much more capacity and represents a significant stride in the company’s development. It is a very exciting time for us.”
