Green light for Nottinghamshire logistics park

Bassetlaw District Council has given its approval to db symmetry’s plans to develop a £60 million logistics and business park in Blyth, North Nottinghamshire. Under the phase one of the firm, db symmetry will develop a 150,000ft² warehouse facility.

The Park is located off Junction 34 A1(M) providing high speed road links to Yorkshire/North East, the East Midlands and the UK’s East Coast Ports.

db symmetry’s development director Simon Dixon said: “Since we acquired the site in August 2015, we have been working closely with the Council to create a high quality, well connected scheme that will attract businesses to the area.

“Symmetry Park is in the right location to meet the ample demand for new industrial space and with planning now secured we will be looking to start construction in April this year.”

Dave Robinson of Savills, which is joint agent for the scheme with Colliers and Dove Haigh Phillips, said talks are going on with a number of potential occupiers.
