Work set to start on new DPD Manchester facility

Work on DPD’s new distribution centre in Middleton, Greater Manchester, is set to start this month. In a statement issued yesterday (18 July), Pochin’s announced that it has been awarded a £6m contract by industrial developer Chancerygate to deliver the new facility for DPD.

The new centre will extend DPD’s North West presence, adding to existing depots in Manchester, Liverpool and Warrington.

The site was formerly home to a BAE Systems manufacturing facility.
