Geodis UK launches a European express road service

Geodis UK has launched a European express road service under the name Sprint.
Starting with deliveries to Germany, France and Benelux, the product offers guaranteed transit times, specific labelling and POD on request. Geodis plans to expand coverage to Italy and Spain later this year.

Under the unlimited-weight service, consignments can be delivered to destination from almost anywhere in the UK in 48 hours.

Nick Streatfield, director of road services at Geodis UK, said: “With the launch of Sprint, we have a platform that is complementary to our existing groupage services. It is a time-critical service for higher-value goods across all sectors, not only for use by existing customers but also a new client base.”
