Initial wins computer deal

Initial City Link has extended its relationship with IT firm Computer 2000 by being appointed to handle national deliveries of its hardware and software. Initial already distributes over 2,000 modems a week for the company.
The new deal follows the opening of Computer 2000‘s new distribution centre at Magna Park, Lutterworth and will see Initial City Link deliver over 3,000 parcels a day across the UK.
Initial has installed Scan-IT weighing and labelling technology at the Lutterwork site as well as a cage sort system.
