Tuffnells to hold 90th anniversary conference
Stourbridge-based event and video production company Top Banana has won the contract to produce the first national conference to mark the 90th anniversary of Tuffnells Parcel Express.
Tuffnells is the longest established parcel carrier in the UK, with over 1,500 staff employed at 23 depots across the country. The conference will take place in January 2004 and will involve the entire Tuffnells sales force.
Lloyd Dunn, sales commercial director at Tuffnells, said: ‘This marks a milestone in the company’s history.
‘We will be introducing a number of new and exciting initiatives so we looked for a company that could deliver a creative solution. We found that company in Top Banana.’
Nick Terry, managing director of Top Banana, said: ‘Conferences are a brilliant way of enthusing a team and, as this is Tuffnell’s first national conference, we’re looking forward to producing something really memorable.’
