Hermes price changes

Hermes new price changes come into effect.

Hermes has made some changes to its myHermes UK parcel prices.

The new prices came into effect yesterday (1 February).

In a notice posted on its website, Hermes said that it has made some changes “to make finding out the price you’ll pay easier”.

The company added: “For many different parcel weights, we’ve been able to reduce our prices.”

Post&Parcel contacted Hermes for some examples of the reduced prices.

Hermes told us that in the 5-10kg category prices have been reduced:
1. from £8.49 to £6.99 (inc VAT) for courier collection – a 17.6% reduction
2. from £7.99 to £6.49 (inc VAT) via a parcelshop – an 18.7% reduction.

Hermes also informed its customers that, effective from yesterday, they don’t need to measure their parcels, as long as they don’t exceeed the maximum dimensions. Hermes told that this reflects the company’s “focus on weight rather than complex dimensions for different price bands”.
