UPS expands International Special Commodities programme

UPS has expanded its International Special Commodities (ISC) programme to more than 50 additional international destinations.

The service – through which customers can ship biological substances, dangerous goods in excepted quantities, and shipments utilizing dry ice  – now covers more than 100 countries.

In a statement issued today (6 February), US said that the  latest expansion in the dangerous goods delivery service was “a direct response to growing demands from biopharmaceutical manufacturers, diagnostics companies, laboratories, distributors and care providers to ship specialized commodities when security, time and temperature control are a high priority”.
