Rhenus and ERKA launch daily service between Germany and Poland

Rhenus Logistics and ERKA Internationale Spedidition have launched a daily international transport service between Germany and Poland.

The new service will offer daily transport for a range of non-perishable items such as furniture, industrial stock and chemicals. Before being transported, the goods are combined at the Rhenus facility in Wroclaw, Poland, or the ERKA business site in Stuttgart, Germany, with both businesses also organising final mile deliveries to end customers.

David Williams, managing director of Rhenus Logistics UK, commented: “Having already enjoyed a successful relationship with ERKA in the UK and the Netherlands, Rhenus was delighted to extend this partnership to Poland. Thanks to our collective expertise in the region, we can offer our customers an unparalleled daily international groupage road transport service offering.

“The Rhenus / ERKA partnership, which has been established for more than 12 years, has enabled us to offer customers across Europe an efficient and secure logistics solution.”
