Chairman Richard Flower told about 20 shareholders at a low-key annual meeting that efforts to find a buyer for the company as a going concern had failed, but two overseas parties were interested in some of the company’s assets, which could be worth NZ$1 million.
After its intentions of a deal with La Poste fell through last year the Portugese postal service is to look to set up a partnership with TPG. The two posts have signed a letter of intent to explore a potential long-term strategic alliance, which will focus on domestic and international express delivery service both within and from Portugal.
